One thing I always look for is the little things, whether passing along useful information that goes over the heads of some off the court or watching difference-makers doing things that don't always necessarily show up on a stat sheet or score sheet. I'm good at breaking things down, so catching heady players always impresses me

Collins was poised under pressure at both handling the ball and seeing the floor, and when you factor in that she was playing up see evaluation here, what she was doing was even more impressive and it speaks volumes about her upside

Heskew crossed the state line and showed one of my old sayings that I hope doesn't offend anyone: Oklahoma is still OK. She impressed me with her timing in the 3-on-3, as well as her defense, but she's also a "long and athletic" guard who scored or dished off the dribble, yet splitting the seams with crisp passes in transition was nice

Wright has been evaluated by both of my PGH Texas colleagues see evaluations here so I was happy to get my first look. Her "on-the-ball" pressure, as well as playing the passing lane, is what caught my attention initially, yet her first step to attack and dish, or finish, was nice, as was her threading the needle under pressure in traffic in the open court

Ramirez grabbed @playerrimedies attention, see evaluation here, as well as mine, by "making plays" while being heavily guarded. Pressure didn't burst a pipe; she saw the floor and hit teammates at the right time. She gave me the "catch and shoot" and played solid "on the ball" defense

McWilliams was McSolid on both ends, and her energy on both ends never let up and this started during the 3-on-3, as she attacked from multiple spots. Her deceptive first step and body control looked good; same thing during 5 on 5 but her defense, including playing the passing lane and being able to see the floor across the board all day, was nice
