Freshman Showcase Team No. 4 Evals

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at the members of Team No. 4 from last Sunday's Freshman Showcase, which was held at the Beal Center in Chesterfield.     [player_tooltip player_id='1243490' first='Arianna' last='Rehagen'] (Fatima): A 6'0" forward from Mid Missouri who has good fundamentals in the low post. She keeps the ball high on the catch and offensive rebound to finish off the glass. She also passes the ball well from the high post and out of the low post. She also runs the court very well in transition. She scored the game winner in one game in sudden death with a layup after a strong rim run.     [player_tooltip player_id='1859714' first='Laila' last='Hayes'] (Parkway North): A 5'3" point guard who has good physical strength, quickness and a feathery shooting touch from 3-point range. The young southpaw plays the game at her own pace as she can break down defenders off the dribble before letting go of one of high arching 3-pointers. She is also a good playmaker who can distribute the ball to the right spots.     [player_tooltip player_id='1895438' first='Brynn' last='Gass'] (Festus St. Pius): A 5'5" point guard who was one of the fastest players that we watched at the showcase. She was constantly getting downhill and beating defenders on the straight line drive for layups. Even if people knew she was coming, she did it anyway. She was also working on the defensive end where she can provide good on-ball pressure.     [player_tooltip player_id='1821254' first='Mazie' last='Reutzel'] (Fredericktown): A 5'7" guard who was shooting it well from 3-point range with a quick release on her shot. She also made good use of the shot fake to lift defenders and attack the basket off the dribble. She also plays with without the ball with her high basketball IQ.     [player_tooltip player_id='1298224' first='Charlotte' last='Schanuth'] (Helias): A 5'9" shooting guard who has good athleticism and length to go along with her positional size. She drives it well from the perimeter and she is also a capable 3-point shooter. She also showed some good hustle as she rebounded well and got to several loose balls.     [player_tooltip player_id='1922786' first='Kenley' last='Lickteig'] (St. Dominic): A 5'7" guard who played with a lot of confidence when we watched her out of the floor. She was battling hard for rebounds inside while also going outside to hit 3-pointers off the catch. She was also attacking off the dribble. She could also operate in the post against taller players.     [player_tooltip player_id='1317833' first='Whitney' last='Stalka'] (Incarnate Word): A 5'10" forward who is a versatile performer who is very comfortable on the perimeter as well as inside. She can seal in the low post to score and she had a nice turnaround jumper in the lane. She also hit the 12 footer along the baseline. She was also handling the ball and making plays on the drive.     [player_tooltip player_id='1243471' first='Clara' last='Coggins'] (Rock Bridge): A 5'6" forward who did an excellent job inside despite giving away several inches in height to opposing players. She is physically strong and can handle herself quite well inside. She catches the ball well and she can score through contact. She also makes good use of pump fakes inside to keep defenders off balance.
