The featured image is of [player_tooltip player_id='1112872' first='Katelyn' last='Tofani'] (2030) from Lawrence Central High School.

Saturday afternoon marked the annual Prep Girls Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. For me, it was a great way to see many of the state's 2030s in one location, especially with them having traveled all over the Midwest/country during the Grassroots season. Below is a quick look at everyone who participated on Teams 1 & 2.

.

TEAM #1:

#589 - [player_tooltip player_id='1252196' first='Denim' last='Bradley'], 5-4 PG, Lawrence North H.S.
- Denim was very active during the portion I saw. She has a wiry-strong, athletic frame, some length, and she moves well in all directions. She plays with a nice motor, and once she understands how to change speeds when she changes directions, watch out!

#596 - [player_tooltip player_id='1819086' first='Laila' last='Smith'], 5-6 SG/SF, Hamilton Southeastern H.S.
- Laila is a solid all-around athlete who does a little of everything. She can be an athlete off the bounce and attack the basket, plus she has the potential to become a really nice defender. She also might still grow a couple more inches.

#602 - [player_tooltip player_id='1231955' first='Bo' last='Maxwell'], 5-6 PG - Elkhart Christian Academy
- I was able to see Bo for the first time in July, and she could be one of the best 2030s in the South Bend/Elkhart region. She has nice length, a fluid/smooth approach to the game, plus she is a natural lead guard with a good feel for the game.

#605 - [player_tooltip player_id='1112872' first='Katelyn' last='Tofani'], 5-7 CG, Lawrence Central H.S.
- Katelyn is a strong combo guard who does a little of everything. She handled the ball quite a bit in transition, but she is a shooter/scorer by nature. She knocked down her share of shots from outside, but look for her to become more efficient.

#625 - [player_tooltip player_id='1317726' first='Aiyana' last='Marshall'], 5-6 PG, Lawrence Central H.S.
- I thought Aiyana had a solid day when I was able to see her. She has nice length, she's a balanced all-around athlete, and she plays with a solid motor. I don't know where she will fall yet among a strong 2030 group at Lawrence Central, but she is talented.

#637 - [player_tooltip player_id='1879591' first='Katelyn' last='Weddell'], 5-10 SF, Noblesville H.S.
- Katelyn is a prospect who could step in and play early/often for the Lady Millers this Winter. She has nice length, a fluid athleticism to her, plus she has a wiry-strong frame that should continue getting stronger. She is skilled around the perimeter as well.

#644 - [player_tooltip player_id='1240671' first='Bailey' last='Harding'], 5-11 PF/C, Culver Academy
- Bailey is another Tennessean to come to Indiana and attend Culver Academy. She brings good size and strength/power, physicality, and the ability to offer rebounding and interior defense. She has soft hands, so her offensive game should grow quickly.

#645 - [player_tooltip player_id='1871562' first='Jada' last='Reid'], 6'5 C, Lawrence Central H.S.
- Jada was easily the prospect with the highest ceiling at the Freshman event Saturday. She already possesses good size, developing strength, great length, some bounce, but also good all-around skill. As she stacks up the reps, she could become a monster!

.

TEAM #2:

#587 - [player_tooltip player_id='1918843' first='Eva' last='Johnson'], 5-3 PG, Warren Central H.S.
- Eva is a quick, fast, and athletic little point guard who likes to get the ball on an outlet and just go. She was fast in transition, quick in the halfcourt, and like most young guards, once she figures out changing speeds and situations, she'll be tough.

#599 - [player_tooltip player_id='1882605' first='Nova' last='Seversen'], 5-6 SG, Princeton Community H.S.
- Nova is an intriguing guard prospect who could help Princeton sooner rather later. She has nice length, a fluid athleticism to her, and she is a comfortable perimeter shooter who is looking to shoot/score on the catch. I'll be curious to follow her career.

#600 - [player_tooltip player_id='1228626' first='Hadley' last='Toll'], 5-7 SG, Huntington North H.S.
- Hadley brought a nice combination of strength and skill to the perimeter. She was physical defensively, she rebounded her position well, but she also showed some touch outside, and she handled it a little in transition and initiated the offense.

#604 - [player_tooltip player_id='1873570' first='Meeya' last='Blanford'], 5-7 SG/SF, Northeastern H.S.
- Meeya was a fairly well-rounded perimeter player. She had some touch from 3-point range and in the mid-range game. She handled it a little in transition, but she seemed more comfortable filling the wings. She played hard and is a solid athlete.

#618 - [player_tooltip player_id='1851238' first='Briley' last='Lisenby'], 5-8 SF, Ben Davis H.S.
- If Briley was anything, she was one of the most active players on hand. She is very strong, physical, and assertive. Her energy always seems to find the basketball, and she can score it in the mid-post, off the drive, or by gathering offensive rebounds.

#622 - [player_tooltip player_id='1249029' first='Peyton' last='Grady'], 5-5 SG/SF, South Bend St. Joseph H.S.
- Peyton is a strong, compact little guard who plays with a good energy. She will be physical on attack and at the defensive end of the floor, and she does a nice job of finishing in different ways around the basket. She's also a scrappy defender.

#624 - [player_tooltip player_id='1861399' first='Laurel' last='Worth'], 5-5 SG/SF, Evanston Township H.S. (IL)
- Laurel is a strong wing prospect who does a nice job of using her physicality. She is a solid North/South attacker, she showed a little touch from outside, and she plays much taller than she is. She will go rebound, and she'll defend taller players.

#631 - [player_tooltip player_id='1892351' first='Helen' last='Poynter'], 5-10 SF, Lapel H.S.
- Helen was there with what I can only assume was her twin sister (Emma, Team 3). Helen has nice length, a fluid athleticism to her, plus she showed solid skill. She has some touch outside, a nice mid-post game, and she'll rebound/defend inside.
