This class has a little bit of everything skill-wise, but at the same time, these girls haven't been afraid since the moment they stepped foot on campus. Chalk it up to competing on various platforms at an early age or just putting in the work; this class has really been on the upswing, delivering in big-time moments and creating opportunities. There will be plenty of kids from this class who play collegiate basketball. Though we may not know at this moment where everyone will land, expect a good bit of them to be able to suit up to play collegiate ball.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We all come into a season optimistic about what the future may hold. As I have stated in previous articles, this upcoming school ball season is wide open. We may not know who the heavy favorites are to win it, but you better believe that if kids stay healthy, there will be some surprises in there. I wanted to touch on some kids who may have flown under the radar. You could have seen glimpses of them, and they may have played a role for their club in the past. I love her ability to run the rim. She secures a board, takes off, catches the ball with her soft hands over the top, and finishes. A kid who has solid court awareness and knows how to pass out of double teams. She can finish over either shoulder, unleashing a nice set of moves inside. Has a nice mid-range jumper from the 15-ft mark and can knock down the 3-ball consistently. She is solid on the boards, great in the screen game, but can also spread the floor and knock down shots from multiple spots. She's a team player who is willing to do the dirty work. A hustler, one who uses her stature to an advantage. She is big time on the board on both ends. Aggressive, she goes after the ball with both hands and secures it firmly. She can play traditionally with her back to the basket, but has equipped herself to be an aggressive downhill attacker, taking opponents off the bounce from the perimeter. Had a great travel ball season and will look to bring that momentum into the school season. No matter what is asked, this kid gets after it and then some. She can knock down 3s at a consistent clip, attack off the dribble, and make timely assists to open teammates. One quality that is overlooked is her rebounding ability. She prides herself on gaining rebounds. She's close or near a double-double in each contest. A kid who can score from multiple spots on the floor, it's the other things she does that really pique my interest. Making the right reads, rebounding, defending, etc., even what she does without the ball in her hands is impressive.
