Sanaya hit three 3's from deep and made several defensive stops to help stretch the lead. Her energy was infectious and she did a great job of getting her team together and keeping them together at critical times in the game. She really showed her leadership skills and why she will be a key to Grisley's success this season. Also, congrats on your recent commitment to Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina.

McKinnley was the tallest player in the gym and led the charge for her team in Week 1. She showed great footwork and hands on her catches and post moves. She had to play through a lot of physicality but finished well inside. Her teammates did a good job with getting her the ball and making solid post entry passes and Simms did the rest of the work.

Lila had the hot hand scoring 18 points off of 6 three pointers. She was one of the best players in the gym and showed that she's hard to guard due to her versatility and mismatches she causes. Kelly has incredible size so she can post up and score or stretch beyond the arc. She recently committed to Washington and Lee University in Virginia.

Scored 20 points on opening night to lift her team to a win. She plays with a toughness and grit that is fun to watch. She has great size and loves to be aggressive and physical with her style of play. Kilborn has the ability to knock down perimeter shots or put the ball on the deck and get to the rim strong.

Despite only being a freshman, she ran the show for the West Forsyth Titans. Jocelyn plays with a chip on her shoulder, and she showed that she can score in multiple ways. She displayed she can be a high-level scorer or a playmaker that can create for others.
