Tenley is a nice player and someone with good potential as a recruit. Grossman is a returning guard who was their primary ball-handler. She usually gets the Hornets set up into their offense and can handle the ball against pressure. She has some good fundamentals including executing nice post-entry passes. She is a longer player with good athleticism. She will have a chance at an All-Region selection at some point in her career.

Allmaras was a key reserve player last season and is hopeful for more opportunities this year. She is a strong 5'11 with good athletic qualities. She moves well and has good lateral quickness in the post. She flashes well to the high post where she can take her opponent off of the bounce. She has a soft touch around the basket. Last season she averaged about 4 points and 4 rebounds per game.

Neis is a nice player (pun intended). She came off of the bench and immediately brought the energy and positively affected the game. I watched a game where she came in off of the bench and scored 11 points, including three made three-point baskets. This type of firepower is a luxury to have from a role player. She finds gaps against zone defenses and has her feet and hands ready for the drive and kick. On top of her stellar offensive play, Mya is a formidable defender. Look for an increased role this season from the 5'7 guard.

Tenley is a player who saw a ton of minutes last season as Devils Lake's sixth-man. She was first off of the bench and should be a lock for a starting position this season with the graduation of three key players in 2026. She fits in perfectly with the Firebirds philosophy of full-court pressing opponents. She is exceptionally quick and tough to get past. She turns her opponents and is a scrappy defender. Her quickness and her ability to go to her strong hand (left) will be a lot of fun to watch going forward.

Sophia was a starter on last season's Four Winds team as just a freshmen. She competed hard and showed continuous improvement throughout the season. She is long, lanky, and has good hands. She is tough in the pick-and-roll and catches passes on the run and finishes at the basket. She is also good in the dunker position. She keeps her hands ready, slides to the open gaps for dump off passes, or she occupies defenses to allow for driving lanes for her teammates.

Sophia is someone I think has great potential as a college recruit. She is a lengthy 5'11 who looks like she could grow a bit more. She started last season and played a ton of minutes for Maple River. She can play inside and out, being a nice dual threat on the offensive side. She steps out on the perimeter and is a three-point threat and she is really tough around the basket. She finds gaps in the post when her teammates drive and she has her hands ready for dump off passes. Satrom could be a special player and was already an All-Region selection last season.
