While Southern California is home to some of the most prolific athletes from around the country, it was a must that I stopped by the Scholastic Series Girls National Preview to get a bird's-eye view. I couldn't miss the wall-to-wall talent that's been echoing since this past summer. Below, I will cover some of the Standouts in the event.

Klamberg was an impressive standouts over the weekend. With her 6'2 frame she was able to stretch the floor from multiple angles. Finishes from the baseline off the dribble, scoring off the catch with defender in her space. Her ability to attack the paint and score over the defender or make a pass to the open shooter. Defensively she's able to guard multiple positions.

Prakashchander the standout floor leader and team playmaker. She's a High Iq player who not only made great decisions in transition but creating multiple opportunities for her teammates became effortless. In multiple games I witness her deep 3 point shooting, to comfortable off the dribble scoring.

Canizal versatility was on full display. Her ability to create opportunity's for her teammates made he a threat on the floor. Not only as a scoring threat from multiple spots, but looking ahead making great open floor passes. Being able to finish at the basket with either hand was very impressive.

Johnson was an elite shooter from the perimeter. She was able to hit open shots, contested shots and shots with limited space. In game one she was 6/9 from long range. When chased off of the line she was able to score from mid-range at will. In the following two games she finished with a continued elite performance.
