Top Eau Claire Area Seniors

With the start of practices right around the corner, I wanted to continue highlighting top senior talent this time moving west to the Eau Claire area.

Cooper, a two time All-State and future Tennessee-Chattanooga Moc headlines the list of top Eau Claire area Seniors. A dynamo on the offensive end, Cooper starts her final season with 1,684 career points. 1,282 at Regis and 402 points she scored as a freshman at McDonnell Central. Cooper has a real shot at finishing in the top 25 All-Time scorers in Wisconsin High School basketball history and is an impact player on both ends of the court.

Abramczak, a senior from Thorp is another player that, in my opinion has gone a bit unnoticed being from a small town. After a junior season, where she averaged 16.1 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.3 apg, 4.6 spg, and 1.1 bpg, she starts her senior season, with 681 career points with a good shot of hitting 1,000 career points by late January.

Ohman, 5-8 from Menomonie, is another Eau Claire area talent that is turning heads. An Honorable Mention All-State selection, as a junior, Ohman finished 13th in the state in scoring with 490 total points averaging 19.6 points to go with 8.3 rpg, 4.3 apg, and 3.2 spg.

Committed to UW-Stout, 5-10 Glenz starts her senior season with 1,390 career points following a stellar junior season where she averaged 17.9 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 2.8 rpg, 2.1 spg. Last season ended with a silver ball but with 6 of their top 7 scorers returning, Glenz has the Cardinals dreaming of a gold ball this March.

Another player, from the western part of the state, that has caught my eye, heading into her senior season, is 5-10 Drazkowski. A true three-level scorer, Drazkowski's junior season stats were head turning to say the least. 17.4 points, 10.2 boards, 1.2 assists, 3.8 steals, and 3.1 blocks while going over the 1,000 point mark on February 10th.
