2019-2020 Preview: All-State Senior PG’s

The 2019-2020 high school season is quickly approaching. Lets take a look at some potential senior All-State point guards. Mya Bobo Mya Bobo 5'6" | PG West Bloomfield | 2020 State MI (2020, PG, West Bloomfield) If you like gritty players, Bobo is the point guard for you. She is always willing to try to outwork her opponent. Bobo is a solid defender and floor general. Brittany Bowman Brittany Bowman 5'6" | CG Kingsley | 2020 State MI (2020, PG, Kingsley) Bowman is a leader on and off the floor. The dynamic point guard has turned herself into a Kingsley High School legend. Ellie Droste Ellie Droste 5'9" | PG Pewamo-Westphalia | 2020 State MI (2020, PG, Pewamo-Westphalia) Droste is a do it all point guard. She runs the show on offense, and on the other end, is a defensive stopper. Droste is a natural leader. Sanaya Gregory Sanaya Gregory 5'5" | PG East Lansing | 2020 State MI (2020, PG, East Lansing) Gregory has a high basketball IQ, but that’s just the start. She might be the best on ball defender in Michigan. Teagan Haynes Teagan Haynes 5'8" | PG Michigan City | 2020 State MI (2020, PG, Michigan Center) Haynes glides up and down the floor, playing at any pace. With the talent that surrounds her at Michigan Center, she could average a double-double in points and assists. Ajanee Horton Ajanee Horton 5'9" | CG Detroit Northwestern | 2020 State MI (2020, PG, Detroit Northwestern) Horton plays an aggressive style game and attacks on both ends. She’s an effective score first lead guard that can be counted on for 20 points a game. Jolee Houle Jolee Houle 5'6" | CG Grand Haven | 2020 State MI (2020, PG, Grand Haven) Houle is a true 2 way player. She recognizes high percentage scoring opportunities on offense and is an elite defender. Houle is a leader and a real lockerroom prescense. McKenzie Lewis (2020, PG, Williamston) Lewis is simply a big time prospect. She’s efficient with her dribble and doesn’t let the ball stick in her hands. The Bowling Green commit is primed for a huge senior season. Lolo Reed Lolo Reed 5'6" | PG Saginaw Heritage | 2020 State MI (2020, PG, Saginaw Heritage) Reed can get up and down the floor quickly. She’s solid in transition, finding scorers running the wing. Lauren Ross Lauren Ross 5'10" | PG Muskegon Reeths-Puffer | 2020 State MI (2020, PG, Muskegon Reeths-Puffer) Ross is one of the top floor generals on the west side of the state. She’s the type of player that makes the team look better when the ball is in her hands. Dani Salenbien Dani Salenbien 5'9" | PG Lenawee Christian | 2020 State MI (2020, PG, Adrian Lenawee Christian) Salenbien is the definition of a point guard. She has an incredibly high basketball IQ nd just seems to know the right play to make. Salenbien is always 2 steps ahead when she’s on the court. Gabi Saxman Gabi Saxman 5'7" | PG Schoolcraft | 2020 State MI (2020, PG, Schoolcraft) There may not be a more efficient player in Michigan. She always knows where her teammates will be and delivers the ball to them with accuracy. Saxman will be taking her game to Western Michigan University following high school. Daija Tyson Daija Tyson 5'4" | PG Detroit Edison | 2020 State MI (2020, PG, Detroit Edison) Tyson is a waterbug on the basketball court. She has elite start-stop speed, which makes her a menace on both ends. Tyson might be the quickest senior in Michigan.
