<p>As we move closer to the start of basketball season, let's take a look at some of the counties from the North and their returning All-County players. We will start with Passaic County!</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='414398' first='Nevaeh' last='Banks'] - Paterson Eastside - Class of 2025</h2>

<p>Nevaeh was 1st team All-County last season after leading the Ghosts to a 20-5 season and a spot in the Passaic County Finals. She led the team with just under 13ppg and made 64 3-pointers. She also led the team in steals and was 2nd in assists. She will go over 1,000 career points, 200 career 3-pointers and 200 career assists this season and should get to 300 career steals. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='333308' first='Nyasia' last='Pauldo'] - Paterson Eastside - Class of 2025</h2>

<p>An early season injury cost Nyasia 14 of her team's 25 games las year but her efforts prior to the injury still merited 1st team All-County honors. A healthy Nyasia can make a run at 1,000 career points in her senior year. She was averaging 17+ppg at the time of her injury last year. She should also surpass 100 career 3-pointers and 300 career rebounds as the Ghosts return all but 2 players from last year's team.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='559075' first='Zahniya' last='Castillo'] - Paterson Kennedy - Class of 2026</h2>

<p>After moving to Kennedy from Roselle Catholic for her sophomore season, Castillo earned 1st team All-County. Combining with [player_tooltip player_id='583453' first='My'Shayla' last='Clancy'] for an intimidating front line, Zahniya averaged 11+ppg and 8+rpg to go along with 2+apg and 30 3-pointers in 22 games. With the entire team back, they will look to improve on their 16-11 2023-24 season.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='583453' first='My'Shayla' last='Clancy'] - Paterson Kennedy - Class of 2025</h2>

<p>My'Shayla earned 1st team All-County on the heels of a 16-11 season where she averaged a double double with 18+ppg and 11+rpg. She had 19 double doubles in 27 games. She will easily pass 1,000 career points and 800 career this season. She will also go over 100 career blocks and 200 career steals.</p>

<p>Jessaiah averaged 22+ppg on her way to 1st team All-County honors. She is already over 1,200 career points in 3 years. She nailed 71 3-pointers in her junior year while also averaging 3+apg and 3+spg. She will also go over 200 career assists and steals as Passaic looks to improve on last year's 13-12 record. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='782581' first='Mia' last='Soto'] - Pompton Lakes - Class of 2025</h2>

<p>Mia earned 1st team All-County honors after leading the team with 12+ppg. Her production increased as the season went on. In her last 9 games she averaged 15+ppg and made 12 of her 21 3-pointers. She will pass 750 career points this season as she looks to lead the team in scoring for the 3rd straight season after her freshman season at IHA.</p>

<p>Star was a 1st team All-County player after a successful sophomore campaign. She was 2nd on the team in scoring, 3-pointers made with 43 and assists. She helped lead her team to a Passaic County Championship and 1,000-point scorer Siena Shuster gone to graduation her numbers should only increase in her junior year. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Kirsten Braunius - Eastern Christian - Class of 2025</h2>

<p>As a junior, Kirsten made 2nd team All-County leading Eastern Christian to a 15-9 record. She led her team with 10ppg last year and with their 3rd leading scorer gone to graduation Kirsten's scoring will increase for the 3rd straight year in her senior year. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='600893' first='Alexis' last='Chambers'] - Paterson Eastside - Class of 2026</h2>

<p>Alexis earned 2nd team All-County honors for the 20-5 Ghosts by leading the team in rebounding after finishing 2nd in rebounding as a freshman. Her physical inside presence has her on her way to 500 career rebounds in her junior year and 200 career steals. Already over 400+ career points she will chase 1,000 career points over the next 2 years.</p>

<p>Aubrey made a splash as a freshman and finished as a 2nd team All-County representative. She finished the season 3rd on the team in total points scored. She averaged 7+ppg for the season but averaged 10+ppg over her last 12 games. She also finished 2nd on the team in rebounding and will be a big part of the rotation in her sophomore year.</p>

<p>Amelia earned 2nd team All-County honors after a freshman season where she led the Lancers in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals. She averaged 11+ppg for the season and scored in double figures in 15 of her 23 games in her 1st season with Lakeland. </p>

<p>Precious made 2nd team All-County in her sophomore year with Manchester Regional. She led the team with 9+ppg and was 2nd on the team with 23 3-pointers made. The most impressive statistic was that Precious averaged 7+spg and had 8 games with double digit steals. </p>

<p>Madelyn finished her sophomore season as a 2nd team All-County member. She was 2nd on her Pompton Lakes team in scoring and led the team with 31 3-pointers. With a 268% increase in scoring from her freshman to her sophomore year, even better things should be on the way as a junior for Madelyn and her squad. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Arianna Polifonte - Wayne Hills - Class of 2025</h2>

<p>On her way to earning 2nd team All-County honors, Arianna was a sniper for Wayne Hills whose season was highlighted by a Passaic County Championship. She led the team with 44 3-pointers and hit 5 in the County Championship game which was her 2nd most in a game in her career with the Patriots.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Sujidthra Sysounthone - Wayne Hills - Class of 2025</h2>

<p>In her junior season, Charah finished as a member of the 2nd team All-County team. She landed on that team by orchestrating the offense for the Passaic County Champions of Wayne Hills. She led the team with 109 assists and was 2nd on the team with 2spg. </p>

<p>Sophia finished with 2nd team All-County honors as a freshman. She averaged 8+ppg and 7+rpg in 20 games and averaged 10+ppg over her last 12 games. With the graduation of 900+ point scorer Olivia Isaacson, Sophia should move into the lead scoring role in her sophomore season. </p>

<p>Laurel finished on the 2nd team All-County roster after a successful junior season with West Milford. She was the 3rd leading scorer for her squad with 8+ppg and finished the season with 3 straight double digit scoring efforts. With leading scorer Avery Vacca having graduated, Laurel will have the chance to add significantly to her 500+ career points. </p>

<p>Sarah earned her 2nd team All-County spot by being a sniper for her West Milford team. She was the team's 2nd leading scorer with 8+ppg but led the team with 3-point field goals. She will go over 100 career 3-pointers in her junior year and has a chance to lead her team in scoring with the graduation of leading scorer Avery Vacca. </p>
