4 Seniors To Keep An Eye On At The PGH IL Top 250 Expo

You’ve seen all the great posts online about successful Top 250 Expos around the country, but now is finally our turn, Illinois! This Saturday dozens of the top players in the state will compete at Supreme Courts in Aurora, Illinois to showcase their abilities against great competition. We are extremely grateful for those who have already signed up to compete and I am very excited about the talented group we have across the board. While each class will be very well represented, I have picked out a group of players in each class to highlight before the Expo. Here are four players in the Senior class worth keeping an eye on this Saturday: Point Guard <strong>Megan Murray</strong> from Elk Grove High School is a terrific spark plug for whichever team she’s playing on. The 5’5’’ Lead Guard plays her AAU ball with Full Package Athletics and can really run the show. She’s lightning quick with the ball and has the handles to get her defenders off balance with ease. A quick first step gets her great looks at the hoop to where she typically finishes well in traffic. <strong>Addison Ebeling</strong> is a Shooting Guard who, when on her game, is among the best in the State. The 5’11” wing from Loyola Academy has a solid frame and consistent shooting stroke that helped earn her 4^th place at the 3pt shootout at the State Finals last season. A 5’8” athletic wing from Proviso East, <strong>Kendra Hatley</strong> provides a great scoring option. Playing with Chicago Hoops Express in the off-season has helped her gain a ton of experience in fine tuning her game. She’s quick in transition and able to make the right reads to her teammates or take the ball to the hoop and finish strong. <strong>Kaytlyn Matz</strong> is 6’0” Guard/Forward from Carmel Catholic who has a very wide range of skills. She handles the ball well and attacks the rim under control. Plus shooter from outside. Defensively she can use her length to match up with multiple positions.
