Now that the 2025 rankings are updated, I wanted to highlight some risers from the last round of updates this past Spring/Summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='914316' first='Addison' last='Stallings']

Few people scored the ball at the rate Stallings did last season. Stallings was a threat to break a game open at any moment and had six games of 30 points or more. The 5'10 wing is an excellent all-around athlete who can get to her shot at any time and has shown that she can be an efficient volume scorer at the high school level. The Delavan-Darien senior had an excellent summer season when I saw her. Stallings drew plenty of interest from regional programs if she wants to play basketball at the next level. She might be the best player people don't know heading into 2024-25.

[player_tooltip player_id='995788' first='Elsah' last='Rubis']

The St. Croix Central post is a new name on the rankings update. I came across her film this past summer and was impressed by a few things. The main one was how good her motor was for a 6'2 kid. I loved her effort attacking the glass and how well she sticks with plays. Even when kids boxed her out, she'd start trying to use her length to tap the ball to an area where she could secure the rebound, and I don't think I've seen that from many kids her size in the state. She also isn't afraid of contact, which pops off the screen. Offensively, you can tell she knows what she wants to do once she gets the ball, but there's more room to grow. If she wants to play at the next level and lands with a coach who excels at working with post players, that could be the best thing for her.

[player_tooltip player_id='914312' first='Sydney' last='Subke']

The shooting stands out with the Neillsville wing. Once she has enough space to get her shot off, Subke can punish teams from the perimeter. I thought she showed some things with the ball in her hands this summer that I didn't expect. She looked comfortable attacking the basket off the catch and effective on the defensive end of the floor. However, if she can consistently knock down perimeter shots at a 40% clip, she'll have plenty of opportunities to play at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1039219' first='Adahlyn' last='Hoerl']

I'll keep it brief about Hoerl because we've highlighted her at length over the past month. Her ability to slot into any role and find success is something coaches at the next level value. She can create, score, pass, defend multiple positions, and rebound. She's poised for an excellent senior season.

Now that the 2025 rankings are updated, I wanted to highlight some risers from the last round of updates this past Spring/Summer.
