She was also active without the ball, making smart cuts and finishing plays around the basket. Defensively, her quick hands led to deflections and steals that turned into transition chances. Jayden’s motor and toughness stood out and made a difference throughout the weekend.

She takes advantage of scoring opportunities in transition, can shoot it from the perimeter, and rebounds well for her position. Defensively, she stays active and uses her length to disrupt plays. I had the chance to watch her multiple times during the travel season, and she stood out each time. As an eighth grader, Jayden averaged 3.3 points and 2.6 rebounds while playing in every game for the Lady Eagles. (Featured Image)

Jayden is a really good shooter that can play either guard spot for the Eagles. She’s quick off the bounce and able to get to the rim as well. While Bauer isn’t especially tall, she can get to her spots and doesn’t back down on defense.
