Texas preseason rankings will be adjusted quickly so 6A R-1

I've always loved to have intellectual conversations about girls basketball and I don't normally debate anything unless having data, not necessarily stats, to back up what I say. I've explained in early articles that I have seen players that averaged 30, 40, even 50ppg in high school who panned out in college so with that being said, numbers can be deceiving. I saw someone tweet out the <a href="https://tabchoops.org/rankings/girls-rankings/">TABC Preseason Rankings</a> and it's basically made upon how the teams finished the previous season so based on my expertise of who is where, there are several things I already know, barring injuries, on who I think have good chances of making runs this season and I'll start with 6A Region 1     Desoto is hands down the best team on paper in the state, 7 of the top 2022 players listed in my Top 20, Tionna Herron, Amina Muhammad, Ayanna Thompson, Michayla Gatewood, Sa'Myah Smith, Jamia Harris and Jiya Perry, and this includes half of the Top 10, as well as 2020 Old Dominion commit Asha Thompson, so right off the top, this squad is among my top picks Irving Macarthur is in the same region with Desoto, Region 1 and although I haven't seen them, I know they have the top two 2020 players in the state, well nation, Sarah Andrews and Baylor commit Hannah Gusters and to top that off, Texas Top 10 junior, Jordyn Newsome is coming off of a spectacular club season so that trio can give you 40-50 in a blink of an eye   [caption id="attachment_105791" align="alignright" width="130"] Deja Kelly[/caption] Speaking of trios, Denton Guyer has some heat to come at you, Evie Goetz and Isabella, two of the top juniors in Texas as well as Jade Thompson, one of the top seniors in the state. I can't count out Duncanville, the amazing Deja Kelly, one of the tops in the country as well as Nyah Wilson and Zaria Rufus a couple of the state's top juniors. Please keep in mind I haven't seen everyone, I know there and transfers galore and since no high school portal has been established, believe me, there is a prototype somewhere, I don't know where everyone is so after the holiday events, I'l revisit what I think
