Shayler has been a constant long-range threat for Garber, and defenses are learning quickly that giving her space is a mistake. She’s a confident perimeter shooter who can heat up in a hurry, highlighted by a standout performance against All Saints Catholic where she buried seven triples. What separates Shayler is that she’s more than just a shooter — she competes on both ends, brings energy defensively, and makes winning plays. Leave her unattended beyond the arc and she has no hesitation making opponents pay.

Shayler used her strength and aggressiveness to make an impact for Caro at the Mid-Michigan Mega Scrimmage. Shayler muscled her way to an offensive rebound and converted the layup off two feet. She pushed the ball with both hands in transition, beat her defender off the dribble to bury a pull-up jumper from the elbow, and drilled a corner 3 coming off a screen. Shayler deflected passes with her active hands defensively and will be a versatile player this season.
