Non-Public

1st Team

[player_tooltip player_id='333302' first='Mia' last='Pauldo'] - Morris Catholic - Class of 2025

Mia was the NJ.com Player of the Year for the 2023-24 season. Her Morris Catholic team did not lose to a NJ opponent last season. Mia was the catalyst of it all. On their way to a 27-1 season, they won the Non-Public B State Championship for the 2nd straight season. The Tennessee commit will be chasing some high-level career stats as she tries to lead her team to a 3-peat. With a combination of speed, range, court vision and basketball IQ, Mia has the following career numbers in her sights. 2,000 career points, 300 career 3-pointers, 500 career rebounds, 600 career assists and 350 steals. The roster will look a little different this year. They lost their 2 bigs to graduation and their coach to a job at Siena, but with Mia and [player_tooltip player_id='333305' first='Mya' last='Pauldo'] back and [player_tooltip player_id='333309' first='Daniella' last='Matus'] returning to the school, this team may look different, but the same results are well within reach.

[player_tooltip player_id='583758' first='Nila' last='Giraud'] – Montclair Immaculate – Class of 2025

Nila led her team to a 25-5 record, a 3rd straight Essex County Championship and an appearance in the Non-Public B North State Championship. She is a double double machine having chalked one up in 18 of 29 games and averaged a double double for the season. She is on the verge of achieving 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds. She has continued to expand her game. She has shown steady improvement from the 3-point arc in each of her 1st 3 seasons. Not many teams can match her strength on the inside and her defensive presence has her about to exceed 100 career blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='559085' first='Addison' last='Nyemchek'] – Red Bank Catholic – Class of 2026

Addy is clearly the top NJ player in the Class of 2026 and may be the best all-around player in NJ. Her versatility is endless. One of the top passers in the state, she allows a loaded Red Bank Catholic team to get plenty of players in the scoring column. Don't forget that she can score inside and has no problems getting her shot off with her great length. Addy will easily go over 1,000 career points in her junior year. As a sophomore she led the team in points, assists, steals and blocks while finishing 2nd in rebounds and leading Red Bank Catholic to a 26-5 record and the Non-Public A State Championship. With most of the team back they are looking to repeat.

[player_tooltip player_id='333305' first='Mya' last='Pauldo'] – Morris Catholic – Class of 2025

Mya was part of the top backcourt in NJ with sister and fellow Tennessee commit [player_tooltip player_id='333302' first='Mia' last='Pauldo']. She easily moves between running the show and playing off the ball where she is a dangerous spot up shooter. She plays at her pace and can go fast or lull you to sleep with her patience. Mya delivers dimes all over the court and she makes a ton of game changing plays on defense with her anticipation and quick hands. She is chasing 1,500 career points, 150 career 3-pointers, 500 career assists, 400 career rebounds and 300 career steals. These marks are all within reach and a 3rd straight Non-Public B State Championship is within her reach as well.

2nd Team

[player_tooltip player_id='591477' first='Gandy' last='Malou-Mamel'] - Gil St. Bernard's - Class of 2025

Gandy is a top inside presence in NJ basketball. The UConn commit had 15 double doubles in leading Gil St. Bernard's to a 24-5 record and an appearance in the Somerset County Finals. Gandy will surpass 1,000 career points this season and likely surpass 200 career blocks. Her consistency inside grows with each passing day and this team will have the talent to compete for a Non-Public B Championship. She is a beast on the glass and an absolute game wrecker in the middle on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='559070' first='Jada' last='Lynch'] – St. Rose – Class of 2026

Jada led St. Rose to a 19-10 record and a trip to the Non-Public B South championship game. Her versatility is evident when you watch her play. She can run the offense from the point and get in the post and use her strength to finish over and through defenders. A 3-level scorer, she has made 73 3-pointers in her 1st 2 seasons. In her junior year, Jada will surpass 1,000 career points, 100 career 3-pointers, 500 career rebounds and 200 career assists. With a talented roster returning, St. Rose will make some noise at the shore and Jada will be the catalyst of it all.

[player_tooltip player_id='559135' first='Stella' last='Lockhart'] – St. John Vianney – Class of 2026

After her freshmen season at Gil St. Bernard's, Stella made the move to St. John Vianney and made an instant impact on her new squad. On their way to a 22-8 record and an appearance in the Shore Conference Tournament Finals, Stella led the team in scoring and steals and was 2nd in steals. A physical presence who gets downhill hard and finishes with excellent footwork, Stella is also an excellent passer, and her 3-point shot continues to develop. With a year under her belt in the St. John Vianney system and an experienced roster back, Stella and her squad will make a lot of noise in the Non-Public A as they look for some revenge against Red Bank Catholic.

3rd Team

[player_tooltip player_id='559820' first='Addy' last='Platt'] – Gil St. Bernard's – Class of 2026

After two successful seasons at Pope John, Addy has moved to fill out a fantastic roster at Gil St. Bernard's. In those two years with Pope John, Addy had over 800+ points, 500+ rebounds, 200+ assists and 100+ and nearly blocks and steals. She will easily go over 1,000 career points in her junior season. A gifted mid-range scorer and rim slasher, Addy will look to add consistency from long range to help a roster with a lot of size in the middle. Gil St. Bernard's will be looking to take down a Non-Public B title with the added talent.

[player_tooltip player_id='333320' first='Christina' last='Liggio'] – Red Bank Catholic – Class of 2025

Christina is a 3-level scorer. She is comfortable at the arc, off the bounce and in the pull-up game and her strength at all 3 make her very tough to guard as her tendencies are hard to decipher. Defensively, she shows great tenacity and is a high level on the ball defender. On a loaded Red Bank Catholic team, the Navy commit will be chasing 1,000 career points, 300 career rebounds, 200 assists, 150 steals and 100 career 3-pointers in her senior season. Red Bank Catholic is looking to defend their Non-Public A title, and they will need Christina to get them there.
