About Avariella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play as a power forward with a versatile scoring ability, knocking down three-pointers from anywhere on the perimeter. I excel in both on-ball and off-ball defense, always staying locked in to disrupt the offense. Additionally, I'm a relentless rebounder, ensuring my team gains extra possessions on both ends of the court. My all-around game helps to stretch the potential of my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

When I step onto the court, I lock in with the mindset that my team and I are going to win, giving my best effort every play. I take pride in my focus, determination, and work ethic, always striving to improve and elevate my team's performance. Off the court, I have a passion for strength and conditioning and spending time with friends. As a creative outlet I enjoy exploring graphic design.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have consistently earned A/B Honor Roll recognition for my academic achievements. I've been named Player of the Game in 2024. 1 played a role as a crew member in our school musical, Finding Nemo Jr. in March 2025. Additionally, I participated in the NFL Females in Flag Games in March 2025. I was honored with the Great Leader of Wortham medal for my volunteer work in an ECSE classroom.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Volunteering in an ECSE classroom taught me the power of helping others overcome challenges and showed me how much I enjoy supporting others. l've also had the privilege of serving as an assistant coach for our team, stepping in to help guide and mentor younger players. These experiences have helped me grow as a leader and strengthened my ability to inspire and encourage others.
