Sophomore season is a year that a lot of players tend to make a leap in production. Whether it be due to graduation, injuries or transfers opportunities always present themselves for players.

Here I look at some of the players who are candidates to have a breakout season

McNabb will see more time with the ball in her hands this season. She's a steady point guard who knows how to play the position. Her defense is a part of her game that should benefit most from the increased minutes.

The Ridgeline transfer has steadily improved since the end of last season. Don't be surprised if she's among the better scorers with her skill set. She's a versatile forward that can score from multiple spots on the court.

Omoye looked the part at Section 7, and she should pick up from where she left off there. She's a multi skilled wing that has a next level body, and she knows how to get to her spots to be effective. She should see a spike in productivity this season for sure.

Schooler will be one of the players counted on to step up for the Eagles who lost some firepower from last season. Ava is a guard prospect that has a knack for scoring the ball without needing to take a bunch of shots. I expect some big games from her this season.

Jayla is as shifty with the ball as there is in the class. We should finally get to see what she can do once she becomes eligible. She's extremely hard to guard one on one and when her jumper is falling the defense is at her mercy. Her skills also make things easier for her teammates.
