Dresden Lady Lions Aim for State Glory in 2024-25

Last year, this ball club didn't have their best showing. Posting a 5-5 district record and finishing 17-9, he club experienced an upset during their postseason run. Prior to last year, the Dresden ball club had gone to two consecutive Elite 8 appearances. An impressive run with a group of young ladies who made the trip to Murfreesboro a normal thing.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fast forward to now, Coach West brings back a group who is energized and focused to get back to their winning ways. This senior class has been deep into the playoffs each year of their high school career except last year. With Coach West back at the helm and an experience bunch looking to redeem themselves, look for Dresden to be laser focused as they look to get back on track. Their guard play is solid, possessing speed, tenacity, and the ability to finish from the arc and around the rim. Add their teammates abilities to get it done in the paint, you have one solid group who is fundamentally sound. Look for Dresden to return back to state contention as they take care of district foes. This program is hungry and wants to return back to glory. A tough competitor who just flat out gets after it. Uses her speed and quickness to get to multiple levels to score the basketball. Solid on the defensive end. She contributes in every facet of the game. One of the clubs best players, look for her to tap into her experience and help this ball club restore the roar back in Dresden. She will be one of the high point person nightly, knocking down clutch shots when needed. She executes down to the T, running the offensive efficiently and effectively. Plays with great pace and space, she can knock shots down from multiple spots on the floor, but facilitating the rock is what she does best. She locks in on the defensive end, going toe to toe with the opposition's best guard. She too contributes in every statistical column and will be a big time factor as this club looks to stack wins.
