Lucy Beckham may be one of South Carolina’s newer schools, but Watts has wasted no time etching her name into Bengals record books. On Dec. 19, Lucy Beckham earned a 58-37 victory over a tough 4A out in Bishop England. Watts drained a grand total of seven 3-pointers to set a school record. The junior SC Sixers product is a two-sport athlete who also competes in volleyball alongside her basketball achievements. Watts has played at the varsity level since she was an eighth grader. In eight games this season, Watts has averaged 10.6 points and 2.3 steals per contest. The Bengals begin its region schedule this Friday against defending 5A Division 2 champion Berkeley. 

In just a seven-day span, she dominated for Lucy Beckham, scoring 21, 16, and 26 points across three wins while hitting a total of 15 three-pointers. She set a new single-game three-point record with seven and tied the school’s high-score mark at 26. On top of that, she’s maintained a perfect free-throw percentage on the season, going 13-for-13, showing both her scoring range and consistency.

Last season, Lucy Beckham made the transition from 4A to 5A Division 2. Plenty of wattage helped make said move much easier. A product of FBC Reign 2027 on the Under Armour circuit, Watts approaches the game with a heads-up attitude that enables her to take advantage of an opposing team’s miscues. She is an efficient floor runner – an attribute that comes in very useful when making plays in transition or when slicing and dicing her way to the basket through a sea of defenders. If she sees a shot she likes from behind the arc, Watts is likely to take and make it. Watts averaged 8.4 points and 1.3 steals last season for the Bengals.

More winning basketball is Watts on the mind of this multi-skilled combo guard from the Lowcountry. Watts is coming off a stellar AAU campaign on the Under Armour Circuit with FBC Reign and is poised to translate that into even bigger things with 5A Division 2 Lucy Beckham in 2025-26. She is a multi-sport athlete who plays volleyball alongside her basketball accolades and has hooped at the varsity level since she was in the eighth grade. Last season, Watts competed in 19 of the team’s 23 games and averaged 8.4 points and 1.3 steals as Lucy Beckham made the move up from 4A.  

Watts was also present at the Under Armour Rise finals in Pennsylvania competing with FBC Reign UA Rise 2027. She averaged 10.3 points per game in the Keystone State. In one of the games, she was hard to contain from behind the arc as she drained four 3-pointers. Watts also averaged 4.7 rebounds and 2.1 steals during the final live period event. She especially made an impact on the defensive end of the floor as she caused plenty of deflections with how she clogged up the passing lanes for opposing lanes. Watts also plays volleyball alongside basketball. She has played at the varsity level since the eighth grade and averaged 8.4 points and 1.3 steals last season at 5A Division 2 Lucy Beckham.
