She was really effective off the dribble and a solid scorer in the paint area. Look for her to be a key factor in keeping things rolling for the 4-1 Coyotes.

[player_tooltip player_id='731160' first='Sunny' last='Valburg'] - Jones County - 5'9" Sophomore F - 8 points

Sunny provides another key player for the Coyotes as a player who gets it done on both ends. She has length, physicality, and a high basketball IQ. She is a solid rebounder and can alter shots on the defensive end.

BreAna Aske - Jones County - 5'10" Freshman F/C - 14 points

BreAna provides another presence in the paint for the Coyotes. At 5'10" as just a freshman she provides a young talent around the rim who will contribute points, rebounds, and post defense. She was very effective with her touches in this one and took advantage of her mismatch and scored 14 points.

Burke (4-1) 56-49 W over Chester (4-3)

Top Performers

[player_tooltip player_id='613982' first='Kailee' last='Frank'] - Burke - 5'9" Senior G/F - 17 points

Kailee is a physical perimeter player who does a great job getting to the basket off the dribble. A solid finisher when she gets there, she took advantage of finding seams in the defense to attack on her way to 17 points. A solid perimeter rebounder as well, she's a physical guard that sets the tone for Burke on both ends and will be a key leader all year long.

[player_tooltip player_id='823725' first='Olivia' last='Bull'] - Burke - 5'10" Senior C - 14 points

Olivia pairs up in the post with her sister Paige 6'1" Senior C and makes for one of the most physical front courts in Class B. She does a great job snagging offensive boards and gets a lot of second chance points for the Cougars. She took advantage of her physicality inside in this one and scored 14 points and pulled down several rebounds. A couple key possessions down the stretch in the 4th quarter featured her posting up or rolling off a screen and finishing a shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='488317' first='Emmerson' last='Eppard'] - Chester - 5'10" Junior G - 19 points

Emmerson showed up in a big way in a strong effort in the Flyers loss. She is a matchup nightmare at 5'10" and athletic. Her scoring game is very complete as she showed her ability to shoot it drilling three 3's in the third quarter, scored off the dribble, and created quality looks for her team all game long. She's a stat stuffer who rebounds, defends hard, generates turnovers, and just flat out does a lot of things well.

[player_tooltip player_id='731168' first='Jacy' last='Wolf'] - Chester - 5'5" Sophomore G - 10 points

Jacy showed off her lighting speed all game long and showed a really strong ability to score in transition off the pass or dribble. In a game where the Scott's (Lyman) and Boschee, Goertz, and Robinson (SCW) stole the headlines, she stood out amongst the crowd and had the top performance on the day. 21 points and 6 rebounds from pure grit and hustle, this young lady plays with physicality, desire, and absolutely gets after it on both ends. She was very efficient in the transition game and showed off a good mix of finesse and power when she went to the basket and posted up. Her 5 steals on defense were crucial as well and she had a really good overall outing. Brooke is my top performer of the event! Big win for her Raiders in Class B.

[player_tooltip player_id='934591' first='Jordyn' last='Scott'] - Lyman - 5'10" Freshman G - 7 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists

The smooth lefty guard showed off her stat-stuffing prowess with key numbers in the points, rebounds, and assists categories.
