Encinas was arguably the top shooter at the event. Off the catch she gets the ball off quickly and smoothly and knocks it down consistently. She also has the handling to get to her spot for a high percentage opportunity. She played well on the defensive side as well and made a lot of plays for her team. Encinas’s game has improved tremendously over the last year. She’s a coaches player and finds ways to impact a winning effort.

was outstanding all day at the Showcase. She was outstanding during the Skills Session, as she was one of the best ball handlers of the entire group. She showed quickness and agility and also displayed a nice shooting touch. She had a confidence about her that allowed her to compete at a high level on the big stage. She is a very good defender that can defend point guards in the open floor and in half court sets. Jaylene can play on the next level and this upcoming season will be huge for her future outlook.

Encinas was another dominant combo guard that can do it all. She can flat out hustle. She excelled in every shooting drill. Defensively has quick feet and can get her opponent turned very well. Can push the ball in transition if needed. One of the better shooters off the pass in camp. Encinas has a dangerous three ball. Very quick and smooth release. Encinas grows with every showing and shows she puts the time in to developing her game.
