Katey made a giant impact for Escanaba during a 48-41 victory against Marquette last week, starting from the opening tip when she scored a left-handed layup off two feet. Katey attacked defenders off the dribble to earn free throws, grabbed many rebounds, finished layups off drives, and scored using a back-cut. Katey anticipated passes to create steals on defense and made a sweet no-look assist to a teammate in transition. She poured in 11 points for the Eskymos and is averaging 4.1 assists per game.
