Sophomore for Ooltewah High School, Aleigha Taylor Aleigha Taylor 5'6" | SG Ooltewah | 2028 State TN , is having a stellar season.

This season, Taylor is averaging an insane 24.2 PPG through 26 recorded games. Her ability to break down defenders with her dribble moves and score on both sides of the basket effectively in the paint goes heavily into her being a high-level scorer. She also has a three-point shot in her game, but does not need it to dominate games. In a contest against Sale Creek High School, she had 44 points and did not make one three-pointer.

A game that highlighted her three-point shooting ability was against Chattanooga Christian High School, where Taylor had five made shots from distance.

Continues to get better every game. She came onto the scene as a dynamic scoring threat for her club last year, putting them in favorable positions to win and be a formidable squad in their district. This season, she has picked right back up where she left off, ranking among the top-scoring guards in the state. This kid can get to the rim with ease and knock it down from the arc at a high clip. She’s been battle-tested and doesn’t shy away from competition. A solid kid who is a tough competitor and someone you have to gameplan for. Keep an eye on her as she continues to get better and make a name for herself.

A confident hooper that is going to leave her mark on the game. She can score it from all three levels, contribute in other statistical categories, but it’s putting the ball in the net is what she does best. From deep, from around the rim, the ball goes in. She has a shooter’s touch and apologizes to no one as she carves them up along the way. She is a high volume scorer who competes night in and night out. Watch her grow as she continue to hoop it up over the years.

Coming off an impressive freshman campaign, AT will be looked upon to rekindle that magical season. This young lady was no stranger to the bottom of the net as she was displaying double-digit scoring efforts nightly. Playing with a relentless motor, she was feeding the hoop and competing against some tough competition. This offseason, she has been in the lab getting better, and now she is ready to terrorize the competition once again. Look for this young lady to pick up where she left off and put everyone on notice that the Lady Owls are ready to fly high this upcoming season.

A scoring machine who plays the game with speed and tenacity. She is a solid two-way player who can score from multiple levels. She can get to the rim with ease or dial it up from deep with confidence. She is a heady ball player with great read/ reactionary skills. She pounces on opportunities to create turnovers defensively, getting easy transition buckets. She put up tons of points this past season as a freshman. Look for her to do the same next year, as she is one to break records at OHS. Solid prospect with a bright future.

She is on a tear. A dynamic scoring threat that is going to find a way to put the ball through the hoop. How she does it, who cares? If she gets an opportunity, she will find a way to do so. She can lock up on D, get a steal, and vroom, she is off in the other direction. She can score in a set by attacking a gap or rising above the opposition from deep. My point in describing this young lady is that she is no stranger to scoring and will do whatever it takes to help her team win. Solid kid who is going to break some OHS records before it is all said and done.

Is just built differently. She hasn’t wasted a moment and has taken hold of this opportunity to see the floor early. This combo guard has been on a tear, lighting up the nets. She has posted up games where she has scored 40,39,37, and multiple 20-point games. This kid plays with tons of speed and can finish at the rim with ease.  This kid is for real and she is off to a great start in her high school career. Keep your eye on this freshman as she will be climbing on coaches’ radars from the next level.

Playing with tons of confidence, this kid is scorching the bottom of the net at a consistent clip. She’s jumped on the high school scene putting up impressive numbers against district foes. Knocking down shots from three, coming off picks and pulling up, getting to the rim, this kid is making the Owl’s nest a happening place. Look for her to continue to thrive and gain eyes from collegiate coaches.
