Aggressive Scorer. The sophomore put this team on her back tonight. She didn’t settle for being just a distributing point guard. She went scorer mode. She went ‘no one is going to stop me’ mode in this game. She got to the basket to score and to the free throw line with single and double coverage all over her. I haver her down with 15 points and 4 steals.

Versatile Combo Guard. I have probably seen and talked about Caidyn more than any other high school player. One, because she played in every Fall League offered in Memphis back in August. Two, because she consistently impacts every game she plays in. Caidyn doesn’t have to be the top scorer of the game to make an impact. If she isn’t putting the ball in the basket, she will impact in another way. That can be by setting her teammates up to score, hitting someone in transition, and even rebounding the ball.

Combo Guard. I believe Caidyn played every minute of this game. If she did play every minute, SHE PLAYED EVERY MINUTE. She is the primary ball handler, but she did get opportunities to play off the ball. She scored with the jumper. She scored at the basket. She knocked down a 3. She got to the line. By my charting, she finished with 16 points. I also had her with 4 steals.

A scoring guard who truly lights up the scoreboard. She can do a multitude of things, but when it comes to putting the ball in the hole, she is one of the best in the state. She can score from all three levels, play solid on the defensive end, and whenever she is on the floor, her presence is truly felt, and you can not leave her open at any time. She is a kid who can uplift a ballclub with her style of play. Keep tabs on this young lady, as she will be a kid who will definitely reach the 1000 point mark and then some.

#10 Versatile Combo Guard. Caidyn average 14 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists per game for Houston last season. I have talked a lot about Caidyn during the Fall. Due to being able to watch her play in all 4 Memphis Fall Leagues. She is consistent. By that I mean, she is consistent in impacting the game. Caidyn can score, distribute, rebound, play with the ball in the hands and play off the ball. Whatever is necessary for the team.

Versatile Combo Guard. From what I saw at the Jamboree, Caidyn won’t be restricted to playing only the point spot. The way Houston gets out and run after getting rebounds, she may end up on the wing. During the Jamboree, she scored by attacking, off a pull up jumper, got a stick back from an offensive board, got to the FT line and by going coast to coast; because after a dead ball everybody on the court relaxed and walked. She beat everybody down the floor for the bucket. My unofficial numbers: Caidyn had 11 points, 4 boards and 2 steals.

Scoring Combo Guard. She can do whatever the team needs: set up teammates, play off the ball and score, and even rebound. Last season, Caidyn was first in assists with almost 4 per game, second in scoring with 14 points and added 4 rebounds per game
