Avery did not disappoint. Thee tournament MVP scored a team-high 22 points in the championship. She led the offense in multiple ways—transition, drives to the basket, and outside shooting off passes or drives.

Avery put together an impressive stretch with a 23-point, 4-assist, 6-steal performance against Franklin, then followed it up with another strong showing against King Philip. Despite facing constant double teams and aggressive face-guarding, she still poured in 25 points, proving her ability to score under pressure. She shoots the ball at a high level from beyond the three-point line and pairs that with a strong handle that allows her to navigate the floor and get to her spots consistently.

Gamble is one of the more prominent players in her division and she’s been a well-established name for Oliver Ames. The 1000-point scorer is going to be a considerable factor for the team as she’s looking to make a statement in her senior campaign. Expect Avery to be one of the more productive guards in the South Coast.

High production and efficiency are the essence of Gamble’s game. She’s exceptionally quick, getting out in the open court in the blink of an eye. Avery also is confident walking into her shot as well as taking it to the rim amongst the trees. The vision she shows in traffic is tremendous and a rather special trait of hers. Gamble’s defense is pretty stout too; she stays connected to players plus she’s real feisty. Schools looking for a spirited point with a ton of value, look no further.

Avery, a recent Trinity College commit, a 2025 HockomockSports First Team Selection, is a standout guard with confidence that shines through. I noticed this confidence especially in her shooting—whether off a pass, a screen, or the dribble, Avery is ready to shoot and does so with confidence. What I love most is that she doesn’t get down after a miss—you can tell she believes the next one will go in by her focus. Beyond shooting, Avery is an elite guard who is a great scorer and faciliator.

What amazing development Gamble has shown over the years. She went from a player that barely could get a basket to now averaging over 20ppg for Oliver Ames during the season. The 1000-point scorer means business. She’s a thorough guard that gets to great attacking points before the defense can even expect her. Assists get racked up rapidly with Avery on the floor. She influences contagious ball movement and is then rewarded for the fluidity of the offense with a much more quality look. The most striking feature is the 3-point shooting though. Gamble can shoot it off the dribble, on the move, coming off various screens or even stationary, it doesn’t matter. A high percentage longball shooter is enough to open anyone’s eyes.

Avery is an elite talent—and it shows. She’s an excellent shooter who hit threes, pull-ups, and tough shots off the dribble. Her confidence is evident in every rep; she shoots it like it’s going in and brings the same effort on defense. A standout from Oliver Ames with accolades to match her game.
