One more time. I love seeing NEW FACES and the progression from others and before someone brainiac drops "he says that all the time" Well, I have to because no matter how many times I say something, many won't get it and probably never will yet I just do me. I'll drop this into 3 parts starting with this

Stevens grabbed my attention from afar as I eyeballed her size, I am not sure if I'm right but I'm close yet her rebounding on both ends kept my attention. She used her size and frame around the basket to score, she also scored off the dribble yet her "court vision" from the high post, her timing to block shots and her hands and footwork speak nice upside

Smith-Brown is on the verge of something special because of the variety of things she did well consistently. Let me start with she's a "long and athletic" guard, which is the base, and watching her not only attack the basket with either hand but finish with either, nice body control included, had me smiling. She also showed explosiveness in the open court. Her pull-up jumper looked good, so did her defense and she played the passing lane

Crudup has been on my radar for quite some time and let me say this, wherever I am, she most likely is there, usually one of, if not the first player ready to go. Her dedication sold me a long time ago, and so does her work ethic because she creates a buzz wherever she goes. Yeah, she's "long and athletic" and drops the jumper with ease but watching her handle the ball after rebounding and seeing the floor in transition was huge, so was her crossover or HEZ in the set as well as the open court to score off the dribble to finish with either hand. Oh yeah, she too played the passing lane

Mason showed her offensive skills off the top by handling the ball under pressure and understanding how to control the tempo. How good was her court vision? Well she threaded the needle between defenders off the dribble and saw the floor in transition but her decision-making places her in that "heady" group as she dropped the jumper, "catch and shoot" from deep included, and understands positioning to rebound

Gilliam arrived early and I had a chance to get into character after finding out her name so I dropped the "had a little lamb" and was told that happens all the time. Well, she wasn't a lamb on the court, and her defense, playing the passing lane, showed off the top. She's also heady, has a deceptive first step to score off the dribble, and even gave me the "catch and shoot" from outside. That, her getting positioning to rebound and her grandparents telling me they had children named Peter and Paul, adding Mary took me back to the group, GOOGLE IT

One more time. I love seeing NEW FACES and the progression from others and before someone brainiac drops "he says that all the time" Well, I have to because no matter how many times I say something, many won't get it and probably never will yet I just do me. I'll drop this into 3 parts starting with this
