Just as there is a Mecklenburg County in North Carolina, there is also one in Virginia where Crenshaw butters her basketball bread. The 2025-26 version of the Phoenix concluded said season with a record of 16-6. Opposing defenses have to watch out for when Crenshaw has the ball behind the 3-point arc with her ability to connect from long range. Crenshaw also does not shy away from contact that can place her at the free throw line. She is the lone Mecklenburg County representative on this year’s Fire Ball Basketball Academy team – and the lone Virginia representative.
