Okapala’s defense stood out immediately to me.She puts herself in a great position, and her length helps a ton when she’s poking at the ball. Had some strong defensive moments

It was hard to miss Okapal on the court. She towered over much of the competition and presented match-up problems in the frontcourt. Okapal already has good instincts around the glass, though improving consistency on her put-back ability will make her a bigger offensive threat. She showed some nice touch at the free throw line and was able to sink those for much of the day. I’m especially excited to see Okapal get coached up at the high school level to continue learning how to leverage her size advantage and length with greater purpose and intention.

She was a nice finisher at the rim on the break. She has an athletic frame and can run the floor well… the one thing I would like to see her do more is become more assertive and aggressive with the ball. But I do like her overall game with her future prospect looking bright.
