It's been years since Lacie Hull and Lexie Hull put the Greater Spokane League — and the state of Washington — on notice. The Central Valley legends left behind a dynasty, a state championship pedigree, and a blueprint for what a dominant sister duo could look like on the hardwood. Their chemistry, competitive fire, and all-around skill set created a standard that's still talked about to this day.

The question remains: will we ever see another pair of sisters like that again?

Two current duos are hoping to answer with a resounding yes — and the 2025-2026 season will be their final chance to do so.

At University High School, [player_tooltip player_id='766482' first='McKenzie' last='Handran'] and Keely Handran are quickly building their own reputation. McKenzie, heading into her senior year, is a composed guard who sets the tone with her scoring and leadership. Her sister Keely, a rising junior, brings relentless defensive pressure and pace in transition. Together, they've become the steady engine for the Titans and will return for one last season together on the high school stage.

Just north in Deer Park, the Bryant sisters are making noise of their own. [player_tooltip player_id='663650' first='Emma' last='Bryant'] and [player_tooltip player_id='928125' first='Ashlan' last='Bryant'] are do-it-all players who thrive in any role their team needs. Whether it's scoring, rebounding, facilitating, or locking down defensively, the sisters consistently impact the game on both ends of the floor. Their versatility and toughness were on full display this postseason, with both earning All-State Tournament recognition for their standout performances. With Emma heading into her senior year and Ashlan right behind her as a junior, the 2025-2026 season marks their final opportunity to share the court in a Stags uniform.

While the Hull sisters set a gold standard that may never be fully replicated, the Handran and Bryant duos are proving that greatness can still come in pairs.

As they prepare for their final ride together, all eyes will be on these two sister acts — not just to lead their teams, but to carry on a legacy of sisterhood and high-level basketball in Washington state.
