Ayanna Dampier showed strong upside at Jazz City Jam as a young 2031 post prospect with size, strength, and a physical presence around the paint. Listed at 5’7” as a center/power forward, Dampier already has the frame and toughness to make an impact inside.

What stood out most was her willingness to battle. Ayanna competed on the glass, fought for position, and showed flashes as a strong interior finisher. She plays with good physicality for her age and brings the type of toughness coaches love in young frontcourt players.

Defensively, she stayed active around the rim, contested shots, and made opponents work for clean looks inside. As she continues to develop her footwork, conditioning, and offensive touch, her ceiling will keep rising.

Ayanna Dampier is still early in her development, but the tools are there. With continued reps and confidence, she has a chance to become a strong name to watch in the 13U group
