I’ve been aware of Brooke since middle school, and she has really grown as a player, especially skillfully. She has always possessed nice length, some speed & quickness, and she is one of the hardest workers on the floor. I had often seen her play off the ball in the past, but now she has embraced being more of a point guard, and she has done a nice job this Spring of initiating her team’s offense but also creating opportunities for herself and teammates.

I was able to see Brooke a little when she was in middle school, and she has done a nice job of developing her skillset for the high school level. She is long, quick, fast, and she flies around the court at times. She has developed her point guard skillset nicely and plays with her head up looking for open teammates. Brooke can also knock down an open rhythm jumper, plus she is versatile defensively and can defend the ball or passing lanes with her length.

Don’t get Brooke hot on transition! She’s a bucket with contact! What a pretty passer! Heating up from behind the arc! Dawson is so quick with those hands defensively- She will taketh away in a jiffy! And she loves to come from behind and knock the ball away! Creates so much fuel for the team with her defense!
