Playing this weekend with The Valley 13U, this guard is already a difference maker on the court. With nice, fundamental handles she can bring the ball up the court facing full court pressure, an important trait for a guard at this age. She can also handle half court defenses, keeping her team in organized sets on the offensive end. Young is also a confident scorer for The Valley. Gracie has good strength to get all the way to the paint with her drives. She is also developing a nice jump shot. She can get to open spots, hit mid-range shots and she has 3pt range. Young is equally as talented on the defensive end. She can get into a stance and defend dribblers, and close out to wings. She also has the IQ to be in help side and help rebound down. Gracie is definitely one to keep on your radar.
