NW Hoop Summit: 2030 Standouts

The 7th graders lost in the championship game against Portland's Lady Fly 15U after defeating them in an earlier matchup. The 7th grader is stronger than she looks and plays with a high level of physicality. Brautigam pushes the pace and can finish the contested breakaway layup through contact and the foul. She drives and dishes or gets to the rim with the step-through inside. She can make the athletic hustle save over the baseline to maintain possession. She drives and dishes or goes herself to sink the runner in the paint or finish a tough take to the rim. Okon has a quick first step, dribble, and jump stop to create her look. The 7th grader consistently beat the first defender on the perimeter. She finished a short jumper in the middle of the paint and a layup at the rim. Corona gets open on the wing, plays with her head up, keeps the ball moving in the halfcourt set, and can find the assist. The 7th grader drove hard down the center and skillfully finished the contested layup.
