Parks was a key contributor in Vanoss’ runner up finish in Class 2A. In that title game, she was a large range bomber. On Saturday, she proved she can impact the game in multiple ways. Got to the rim in transition and slashing in the halfcourt. Was also impressive with her defensive impact. Long arms allow her to get in the passing lanes and block shots. Good motor and instincts further help in that regard. She’s a small town sharpshooter, with good measurables, which should help open the door to collegiate opportunities. While also having two more seasons to pursue a Gold Ball.

While the central Oklahoma team loses key senior talent, with returning guards like Parks they’ll remain in the Class 2A mix because shooting changes games.
