Monarch Crowns forward/guard Iyla Jones was the top prospect in the 15U bracket at the NW Cup. The 6-foot 8th-grader (2029) is a high-IQ, two-way playmaker who consistently gets downhill and crashes the offensive boards. Jones has a controlled, athletic drive and utilizes the jump stop, step through, and euro step to get to the rim. She pushes the pace and has great vision and passing. She can go coast to coast and finish through contact. She makes the right read for the dish or kick. Her pull-up middy is nice, and she hit the catch and shoot three. Jones is a good defender with a long wingspan who anticipates the pass for the steal, wins the loose ball, contests shots, makes the block, and rebounds strong. She's slated to go to Bellevue for her freshman year.

ProFound forward Layla King went to work in the paint and consistently built momentum for her team at the NW Cup. The 5-foot-11 freshman (2028) is strong and creative inside and has a soft finish at the rim. She can post up, turn, face up, drive, and finish through contact and the foul. King can fake and take it to the rim or stop-and-pop with a high release inside. Her turnaround jumper to the left was nearly unstoppable. She curls well off the screen to the basket. She hit the catch-and-shoot 3 when she was left open for too long. King rebounds and is a great help defender who protects the paint and contests the shot.

ABA forward/guard Lily Haywood had a strong presence inside, attacking the basket and creating for her teammates at the NW Cup in the 15U bracket. The 5-foot-9 freshman (2028) rebounds and runs the floor. She consistently drives and finishes strong in transition and the half-court set. She gets to her spot and finishes tough underneath. Haywood has great vision and passing inside and out. She dropped a dime in the paint. She moves well off the ball and makes strong cuts that lead to easy buckets.

Vancouver Grizzlies forward/guard Kasha Foreman drains the pull-up three-pointer from deep with a nice stroke and high arc. The 5-foot-8 7th-grader (2030) played up in the 15U bracket at the NW Cup. Foreman has a next-level mental toughness. She brings the ball up against pressure and effectively navigates double teams. She can finish inside through contact and the foul. She's a quick decision-maker and can make the right pass in transition. She rebounds on both ends and is in the right position on defense to make the steal. Foreman plans to go to Evergreen.

Monarch Queens Lailah Frewine is an athlete with a lot of potential and was able to mix it up on both ends at the NW Cup in the 15U bracket. The 8th-grader (2029) has a quick first step to blow by and get ot the rim. She sells the jab fake and has a wicked spin move to create the look inside. She consistently drew the foul on the drive to get to the line. Frewine is a tough defender, closes out, beats her player to the spot, and makes the big block. She rebounds and runs the floor. She could be an exciting freshman to follow at Grant.
