Atlantic City Showcase – 2028 Standouts

She is an aggressive and physical on ball defender on the perimeter. She does not give up ground easily. Offensively, she is strong with the ball and showed just as much comfort taking it to the lane as she did shooting it from long range. She is going full throttle every second she is on the court. She pushes tempo with the ball and attacks the rim when she gets in the paint. With a strong frame she is capable of finishing through contact. At 6'0" she has great length and is a leader on the Comets GUAA 2028. She is a threel level scorer who is just as happy getting to the rim as she is hitting the deep 3. She can put it on the deck and drive past people and use her size to create space. Someone could cover their entry fee into the Atlantic City Convention Center if they picked up all the dimes Jamila dropped. Watching this young lady play with [program_tooltip program_id='714664' first='Team' last='Sharp'] was an absolute pleasure. Whether it was ball reversal, hitting cutters, passing ahead in transition or feeding the post, she hit every open teammate she could find. She is playing up on the 2027 team and she is one of the top performers of this solid group. She can handle and initiate offense. She plays with a high IQ and is willing to be a distributor or a scorer depending on the situation. She has a strong frame and seeks out contact on dribble drives to the rim. She can step out and shoot it as well.
