[player_tooltip player_id='990371' first='Veronica' last='Simmons'] (Francis Howell): The 5'7 point guard is a multi-talented player who can score at all three levels. On the first possession of the game I watched, she used her quick first step to get into the lane and hit a floater. She also showed her range by knocking down several 3-pointers, off the dribble and the catch. She can blow by defenders with her speed but she can also change up to keep them off balance.

[player_tooltip player_id='1035095' first='Kennedy' last='Newman'] (MICDS): The 6'0 forward is a versatile Strefch 4 with her height and perimeter shooting ability. She moves well without the ball to be in position to shoot. She can also handle the ball to either score or facilitate offense. She has a couple of impressive straight line drives for buckets. She is also a capable rebounder. Her upside as a player is pretty big.

Riha Obinegbo (MICDS): A 5'8 guard who is one of the most improved players I've seen in the early summer. She's definitely been working on her game because she showcased an impressive offensive bag. She was creating off the dribble and dropping off defenders. She was hitting 3-pointers off the bounce and off the catch. She was also a ball hawk on the defensive end. Very impressive.

[player_tooltip player_id='1092874' first='Bailey' last='Owen'] (Marquette): A 5'6 guard who plays with the savvy of someone much older. She's definitely can get by defenders while still going at her own speed. I like how she keeps them at bay on her hip with her strength. She finishes well off the drive and she can hit the 3-pointer.

Lily Harris (MICDS): A young point guard who saw a lot of minutes on a Final Four team a year ago. She's definitely was consistently getting downhill on dribble penetration. She can deliver the pinpoint pass with either hand and she was hitting the open perimeter shot.

Maddie Loder (Marquette): It was my first time seeing her in action and I was impressed with her feel for the game. She was delivering some nifty bounce passes off the dribble to cutting teammates. She also had some nice footwork in the lane to score around the basket.

Lillian Beno (Marquette): Another young guard at Marquette who is a solid player with good fundamentals. She's definitely works well off the ball and she also uses good shot fakes to set up drives off the dribble to hit the short jumper
