Lake Norman Seniors Shine

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The North Meck Invitational was held this week with four days of competition.  I was able to catch day four of the event where I saw some great games between championship contenders including the 4A reigning state champion Lake Norman.  While Lake Norman did graduate four of their five starters from last year, they have a lineup of players ready to take on the challenge of repeating their championship run.  Let's take a look at the new seniors from Lake Norman.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block attacking the basket well whether she was driving it herself or finding the opening and scoring off the pass.  She can make the full court pass hitting her teammates in stride as they get to the basket to score on a fast break.  She continues her strong three point shooting ability from all around the perimeter including a game tying three pointer from the corner to take the championship game tough defense as usual coming up with steals and tying up the ball making it difficult for her opponents to get a play going.  She sees the floor hitting her teammates in the hands as they cut to the basket.  She does well even starting with her back to the basket like a post player driving around her defender to bank it off the glass.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> ball well finding the gaps attacking them to get the pass or score off the dribble.  She was quick to make a move using a jab step right off the rebound to open up the court and make her shot.  She the ball well under pressure bringing it up the court to get a play going.  She sees the floor well knowing how to make the sharp pass to her teammates.  She had a tough take letting her teammates clear out the space and attacking the paint banking it off the glass.  She knew how to hit the shot right when her team needed some of the energy to get back in the game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
