Tyson is an anchor for her defense inside by playing with an active presence on the low blocks, using timing and anticipation to make blocks that turn defense into offense and spark transition going the other way for her team. She provided impressive help-side defense by using her length when she rotated to alter shots, intercept passes and just overall make finishing in the paint difficult.

Tyson threw a TKO the first time I saw her because of her size and skillset, yet her name and game preceded her because her club coach, who has a KNACK for finding next-level players from the small towns, told me what was coming. Her drop step, hands, and footwork immediately grabbed my attention.
