Top Scorers Returning Region 5

Last season she was able to get to 11PPG and this season she could get up to 15 PPG.Jimenez has good size and at times she was just too much to handle for teams without size. Look for her to have a good junior season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Box Elder </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1230638' first='Emma' last='Nelson']</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nelson brings a strong inside presence and Box Elder will need her scoring this coming season as they did lose their top scorer from last season. Nelson is aggressive and she has that quickness as she is a SF and is a pesky defender. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Cleafield</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Izzy Wyaskett</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wyaskett is a dynamic guard that has next level written all over her. Her ability to have a high motor on at all times is impressive. When you see her play defense and offense she is just an energizer bunny out there. She is skilled and one of the best attacking guards in the region. Look for her to get to 15 PPG and if she continues to attack she will live at the free-throw-line. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Fremont</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='796472' first='Abigail' last='Christensen']</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This girl is a big time hooper and she was phenominal last season. The bad news for everyone in Region 5 is that she is bigger and stronger and faster, which all leads to her being better. It would not be crazy to think that she can average close to 20 PPG if she could play freely.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Northridge</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Megan Sargent</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Northridge will need a lot of production from Sargent this coming season. Sargent has the ability to be a double-double threat night in and night out. She is quick and has all the moves to get to the rim and finish. Prieto is a skilled guard that might have the green light this season and that could really elevate her game and her stock. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>West Field</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Kylee Mueller</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mueller looks to help teh Longhorns as they enter 5A coming from 4A as a new school. Mueller has a little bit of size and she used it well as she was great at attacking the glass and finishing strong inside. If she could bring some of that she will help this team hang tough against some strong opponents. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
