Makayla was one of the best surprises in Orlando. She had to guard the opposing teams tallest player that was at least 6’4″ and did so well with some physicality inside and fighting around by fronting the post. Her effort on the offensive boards and keeping the ball alive showed heart and grit. She has some nice length on her frame, and even got to two feet on a couple possessions and was ultimately able to finish with power for And 1’s.
