She defended aggressively, attacked the glass, and consistently disrupted opponents. Offensively, she used a nice rip-through move into the midrange, showed good shooting mechanics, and turned steals into scoring opportunities at the rim. She also showcases her the ability to handle the rock with both hands, which is a skill not many at this stage have. Baptist’s pressure on the ball left a lasting impression and she could crack the BK lineup with the impact she brings on both sides of the ball.

Defensively, she was one of the best in the gym at playing the help side and closing out the shooter effectively.

Baptist is a young guard with natural athleticism and a nose for attacking the paint. She thrives on getting downhill and putting pressure on defenses with her ability to get into the lane. If she combines that aggressive bounce with steady decision-making, and knocking down the jumper, Baptist will open plenty of eyes as a sleeper prospect.
