I love watching cooking shows and seeing cooks eyeball cups, teaspoons, as well as tablespoons without measuring because it reminds me of watching my grandmothers, and guess what, they're on the money. I can't do that, but I know talent without a cheat sheet, yeah, I was in MENSA, but that has nothing to do with it, because I just know so here ya go

Bryant gave me a glimpse while watching her play on the PGH Circuit this past season, yet I wasn't covering her age group. At the event, she started smoothly during the skills, as her first step was a problem. She's a "long and athletic" guard who not only can handle the ball in the open court after rebounding but also sees the floor in transition; court vision across the board was solid. Her pull-up jumper looked good, she scored off the dribble and finished after contact, plus her defense was solid

Meeker wasn't meek by any means as she applied "on the ball" heat off the top during the 1 on 1 drill, yet that carried over to the games, and her baseline-to-baseline pressure was smothering at times. She also played the passing lane, something I love seeing players do, and her deceptive first step looked good, especially watching her drop the FLOATA off the dribble. Body control needs to be mentioned, and so does her court vision

Nix in slang has several meanings, one is to reject, and she did that that showing good timing to block shots. She has good UPS, hits the boards on both ends, and handles the ball after rebounding. She's another "long and athletic" guard with a solid first step to blow by defenders. Body control after contact was also solid, plus she applied "on the ball" heat in the set, as well as full court

Reynolds was one of the standouts at the PGH Freshman Showcase last season, see evaluation here, so watching her "on the court" progression from my initial sighting left me smiling. Yes, she falls into that #sizedontmatter group, but she also falls into that "never takes a play off" group as she uses her athleticism on both ends of the court. "On the ball" pressure looked good, so did her scoring off the dribble, and her pull-up jumper was sweet

Jackson gave me a lot because her skillset wowed me immediately. She was yet another "log and athletic" guard, and seeing her handle the ball fluidly while being pressured got me going after she showed the crossover going full speed while staying under control. Nice body control after the lick while attacking the basket in the set, first step JUST DID IT for me, but she also showed good timing to block shots and applied "on the ball" pressure
