Ava is a player that is playing with more confidence and showing more of her strengths out on the court. She has been handling the ball more, shooting her open shots, and looking to create for herself or teammates. If she continues her aggressive play, she will have a lot of momentum going into her senior season.

Ava McDermott Ava McDermott 5'7" | CG Concord Academy | 2027 NC showed off her range knocking it down from deep.  She was sliding around the perimeter getting to the opening to shoot off the pass.  She did well anticipating passes on defense grabbing the pass to take the other direction.

You never have to worry about this kid giving everything she has out on the court and loving the game. Ava played as hard as she could even though she has not been feeling up to par for the past couple of weeks. She was continuously diving on the floor for loose balls and making defense a strong priority. She had several loose ball steals that led into transition buckets.
