Mattie Schimenz | 5’8 G | Senior | Brown Deer
Schimenz is arguably the best player, and play-maker in the Woodland East Conference. A versatile guard who knows when to score the basketball, and when to pass it. Leading her team, Schimenz is averaging 18 points per game this season. Schimenz dropped 28 points in a huge win over Brookfield Academy. She also scored 28 against Shorewood. In a nice victory over Greenfield on January 28th, Schimenz hit the 1,500th point of her high school basketball career. Schimenz also reached 500 rebounds and 300 assists. She has played a huge role throughout her time as a Girls Basketball player at Brown Deer and has the record to prove it. Mattie Schimenz is committed to Winona State University.
Paige Banks | 5’10 F | Senior | Evansville
In her teams win over Clinton, Banks scored 13 points. It was also that same night that Banks she scored her 1,000th point as a Evansville basketball player. Banks has averaged 18.6 points this season. She scored 25 points in her team’s win over Brodhead and also had a 24 point game against Edgerton. Banks is a true senior leader for her team and plays with so much poise. She has a rare combination of size and handles that makes her very tough to guard. Banks has led her Evansville squad to the top spot in the Rock Valley Conference.
Angie Cera | 5’9 G | Senior | Mukwonago
UW Milwaukee commit, Cera has led her team this season with 15.8 points per game. Last season as a junior, Cera averaged 9 points per game. She scored 25 points in a huge win over Oconomowoc and 23 against Catholic Memorial. Cera has led Mukwonago to a 11-1 conference schedule. Cera has a fantastic understanding for her shooting spots on the floor which makes for a fun player to watch. In her team’s win over Waukesha North, Cera scored her 1000th point. Look for Cera to be a huge asset to her team as we head into Playoffs.
Natalie Leuzinger | 5’9 SF | Senior | Black Hawk
Leading the Six Rivers- East conference this season, Black Hawk is led by Leuzinger. She is averaging 16.4 points per game. She dropped a season-high 28 points in her team’s win over Melrose- Mindoro. Leuzinger also had 23 points against Marshall. In her teams win over a tough Barneveld squad, Leuzinger scored her 1,581st point. Leuzinger has an incredible soft touch to her shot and a nice quick first step to a jumper. She is the current all-time leading scorer in Black Hawk girls basketball history. Leuzinger is committed to Wisconsin as a preferred walk on.
Matyson Wilke | 5’10 G | Junior | Beaver Dam
Beaver Dam is leading the conference with an undefeated conference schedule this season. Leading the pack is Wilke, with 16.5 points per game. She scored her season-high 26 points in a tough loss to Evanston. She also scored 25 points in a big team win over Mount Horeb. Wilke has a true scorers mentality and uses her quickness to be super effective offensively. She’s very crafty and finds so many ways to fly by her defenders. She plays with so much swag on offense and will pull up from anywhere on the floor. In her most recent win over Sauk Prairie, Wilke scored her 1,000th point, mid-season of her junior campaign. Wilke has over 20 Division I offers.
