Cedar Park is a favorite for 5A Region 3 semis

I'm not a basketball genius at anything other than evaluating talent, especially at a young age and no matter what some arrogant obnoxious idiot says or thinks, I truly don't think anyone knows any more about it than myself, and that's no BS, pun intended however again, the game is played on the court and I haven't seen many of the teams in Region 3 5A, however, looking at the bracket, I don't think there are any squads that can stop Cedar Park from making it to the semifinals in Houston at the Campbell Center and here's why You have an abundance of talent on this squad, seniors <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/hannah-wheeler/">Hannah Wheeler</a> (Incarnate Word) and <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/nicole-leff/">Nicole Leff</a> (Texas State) that's a couple of solid D1 performers who are listed in the PGH Top 100 for Texas in the 2020 class and when you add fellow seniors Megan Pish, Takara Holst, and Donna Yazdi, they are battled tested and hungry as they want to end this with a run to the state championship in San Antonio and trust me, that semifinal and final is going to be a monster whoever gets there and it's sad I can't be cloned because the 5A and 6A regional semis are at different sites What isn't sad is that Cedar Park has some talented players on junior varsity that will step in and fill the blanks next season, <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/molly-ly/">Molly Ly</a> is one of those players and she and fellow freshman <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/gisella-maul/">Gisella Maul</a> are on the PGH Texas 2023 Watch List. <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/shelby-hayes/">Shelby Hayes</a> keeps adding more to her game, she is one of the top PGH Texas 2022 while fellow sophomores Angie Sacco and Elaine King have been serviceable players. Juniors Sarah Estupian brings a variety of elements to the table and "highlight waiting to happen" <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/alisa-knight/">Alisa Knight</a> made a huge jump on the PGH Texas Top 2021 list so I'll break down probably the toughest group for that final semifinal spot but one more time, the game is played on the court
