One more time, I love seeing new faces because guess what, talent is everywhere, so here are some of the young ladies who stood out on Friday

Robinson does quite a few things on both ends of the court, and I remember seeing her from afar a while back, yet I didn't have a roster. Fast forward, and she wasn't an imposter; she did a good job of getting into position to outrebound taller players. Her "on the ball" pressure looked good, she scored off the dribble, dropped the short jumper, and played the passing lane

Bass was another guard who brought heat on both ends of the court, and since she created havoc on the defensive end, that helped lead to turnovers. Her first step is nice, so is her body control as she attacked and scored off the dribble. She also does a good job creating her shot and dropping while being defended, "catch and shoot" included

Goodsell sold me immediately as she adds another long-ball threat to her squad, and they have quite a few. She showed me she could score "in the flow" by using a deceptive first step to attack and finish, but she also came off the screen to drop jumpers or just step the defender up nicely to drop it while being guarded, yes, "catch and shoot" included

Ferris was a pleasant surprise as she fell into that #sizedontmatter group, and she gives her team an additional scorer, which is always good, especially when she can drop the long ball in the clutch. Her "catch and shoot" looked good, as did her court vision, yet seeing her score off the dribble as well as defend were pluses too

Hayes uses her frame on both ends of the court, and seeing her score with that old "hands and footwork" that I love gives her my #THROWBACK hashtag. She didn't back down inside the paint defensively, she even showed she could step out of it and guard her man, plus her court vision and getting the outlet going were all nice
