Naylor (19-9) vs. South Iron (24-4) at Van Buren, Saturday, 1 p.m. – Naylor got 16 points from Ebby Moman and 15 points from 2022 Danielle Shepard in the victory over Delta in the sectionals last Wednesday. South Iron will be led by excellent 2020 forward Michaela Ayers. (Prediction: South Iron)
Norbonne (27-1) vs. Platte Valley (26-3) at St. Joe Civic Center, Friday, 6 p.m. – No. 4 ranked Norbonne is enjoying a big season, led by 2020 All-State performer Kennadie Crowe. Younger sister Regan Crowe is part of a excellent supporting case. Platte Valley has a talented young team that features 2022’s Jaclyn Poppert and Stephanie Turpin. (Prediction (Norbonne)
Montrose (26-3) vs. Walnut Grove (25-5) at Southwest Baptist, Saturday, 2:45 p.m. – Defending state champion Walnut Grove is one step closer to a return trip to the Final Four. They got a good challenge from Leeton in the sectionals before advancing. They will get another one from a good Montrose team that is led by versatile 5’10″ 2020 Abby Vogel. (Prediction: Walnut Grove)
Green City (27-1) vs. Community (27-1) at Moberly Area Community College, Friday, 6:30 p.m. – These two teams met in the quarterfinals last season with Community taking the victory. Community has an excellent dynamic duo in Delancey Bowers and Natalie Thomas Natalie Thomas 5'8" | PG Community | 2020 State MO and a strong supporting cast. Green City will continue to ride the talents of 6’2″ 2020 career 3,000-point scorer Brooke Littrell Brooke Littrell 6'1" | SF Green City | 2020 State MO . (Prediction: Community)
