Trinity Moreland
Trinity Moreland is a 6’2″ sophomore forward for Vance High School in Charlotte, NC. Moreland has good size down low on the block and maneuvers very well around the rim. I love her hands. She seems to catch every entry pass and is quick to make her move to the basket. She understands how to create her post position and is agile enough to get to the basket and score. She rebounds well, great team player but I think her biggest asset is that she is a reliable post player. Well actually she is a very good post player and will probably get better. This is fantastic to me because you rarely see post play in this era. It was very refreshing to see Moreland dominate in the paint when she had the ball. She has a good feel for what she is trying to carry out in the paint.
Kyanna Morgan Kyanna Morgan 5'11" | CG Vance | 2020 State NC
Kyanna Morgan Kyanna Morgan 5'11" | CG Vance | 2020 State NC is a 6’0″ senior guard for Vance High School in Charlotte, NC. Morgan is attending Radford University next season. Quite frankly, she has skills. She can handle the ball to where she can create offense. She can shoot the ball anywhere on the floor. She does a good job of catching the ball at the high post and either creating a shot for herself or drawing help and finding the open teammate. She plays with a confidence that is impressive. You can tell she’s worked hard on her game which translates to confidence. I like her footwork and skills. The greatest asset is that she was unselfish. She could have tried to take the game over and attempt to win it with her skills but she was productive within the game plan. Very impressive.
Tanajah Hayes
Tanajah Hayes is a 5’6″ junior point guard for Vance High School in Charlotte, NC. Hayes is an explosive guard that is hard to contain! She can get to the basket with an outstanding handle and does a great job passing the ball to the open person. On the break she has great court vision and guaranteed to make the right play. She grinds on defense as she doesn’t make it easy for you to run your offense. She can shoot off the dribble and makes plays for others. Hayes is very talented and I look forward to seeing how she progresses over the summer. She is one to recruit and sign!
